Debating

Scout and Grace have been fighting a lot lately. Grace has come up with an argument that always seems to stump Scout. Here's an example of what happens.

Today Grace was trying to glue something onto a paper. She was squeezing it really hard and Scout was trying to warn her that a big blob was going to come out. Grace got mad that she was trying to tell her what to do so she didn't listen, and, as Scout predicted, a big blob of glue come out onto Grace's page. Grace got upset that her page got ruined and Scout took the opportunity to say "I told you that would happen. You should have just put a little dot." Grace countered, "Well a little dot doesn't make it stick." "Yes it does." "No it doesn't." "You don't know Grace." "Yes I do. Well Jesus knows everything and Jesus knows that a little dot doesn't make it stick." Scout hasn't figured out how to respond to that yet so she just glared back at her.
